The other day I drove back to the beach from Whistler and could not get over the temperature difference. You would think I’d be used to it by now, but it always seems to sneak up on me. I went from 2 feet of snow (and shovelling a foot of it off the driveway the day before) to spring like temps and green shoots poking out of the soil in the garden. The change definitely put me in the mood for some spring like wardrobe changes.
Dress and Boots – Zara (similar vibe here); Necklace – Designs by Shelagh; Hat and Sunnies – Joe Fresh; Bag – Old Halston Heritage
I found this dress on sale at Zara (here is another of my Zara favourites). I loved the ethereal quality of it. And I loved that it can do double duty with tall boots and a jacket or sweater now, plus transition into summer with pretty sandals. It’s light, flowy, and has that gypset vibe that my friend and web guru/genius Danielle is always talking about.
And the best part…this dress was only fifteen bucks! Yup…you read that right. The sales are unbelievable right now…so go forth and conquer my friends.
